I went there when you could go up into the crown. Not sure you can do that any more. The trip up was on a seemingly never-ending spiral staircase and it was hot and very crowded!
But it was worth it! I’ll never forget the view of New York Harbor from the crown!

ugh, I remember that day all too well. I was actually scared coming down that never ending staircase.
